Tech Tip Tuesday! What to do if your check engine light comes on: Ask yourself these questions to determine if it is safe to drive your vehicle with the light on. Did you recently pump gas? If so, check your gas cap to ensure it is tight. As a loose cap can cause the light to come on. However, the light may not reset immediately. Did the vehicle jolt or vibrate (misfire)? Failure to do so can result in internal engine failure Why oil services are important to get done on a regular basis: Maintains engine lubrication Cools engine components Improves gas mileage Promotes vehicle longevity See attached pictures for examples of recent internal engine damage we’ve seen at our shop.

Thank you to all that participated in Brakes for Breasts campaign for the entire month of October. Elite performed 36 brake jobs and will be donating a total of $2,716.60 to the Cleveland Clinic Breast Cancer Vaccine Fund. We couldn’t have done it without you, and we wanted to thank everyone that was part of this worthy cause to find a vaccine for Breast Cancer. Cars are not so easy to repair nowadays. For every vehicle that needs to be repaired, they need to be diagnosed.
